• Through Chroma-key technology, the virtual studio system(VSS) combines the signals collected by the camera with the virtual studio scenes to perform program recording or live streaming and realiz an online news broadcast studio.
• This involves virtual studio scenes, keying, lights, audio, cameras, etc. The premise of pursuing the real is to do every detail well.

Prepare:

•   Green Screen: Usually green, it can be green matte lacquer, green cotton fabric or other non-reflective fabric. Please try to keep the surface of the green background, so that the light is evenly distributed on it, which will make your chroma-key work easier.
•   Anchor: The clothing of the anchor should avoid the similar color to the background one, and avoid wearing reflective ornaments. The anchor usually keeps a distance of more than 200cm from the background, which helps to reduce the reflection of the green background on the edges of the anchor.
•   Light: The most commonly used lighting combinations: Key Light, Fill Light, Rim Light, Background Light ,etc. The sequence of the lighting arrangement should start with the anchor (Key Light, Fill Light, Rim Light), and fill light for the background appropriately finally, so that its surface distributes the light evenly(Background Light). After applying Chroma-key, an overly bright background may cause black edges on the anchor's. You can avoid this problem by enhancing “Fill Light “to the anchor properly.
•   Camera: Each anchor only needs one camera to get multiple virtual cameras in the virtual system.The camera has to match the proportion and perspective relationship of the virtual background.

Sit broadcast (Half body anchor):

• As it is in the picture preview, the anchor's hands are on the table, and the waist is blocked behind the table. This means that your acquisition signal contains: the green background,the anchor and the green table. The table can be painted with green paint or covered with green cloth. You can put something, eg, press releases, microphones on the table, but not beyond the safe area.
• Please pay attention to the position and size of the anchor in the camera viewfinder (Please refer to the anchor placeholder picture in each virtual studio template)

Sit broadcast (Full body anchor):

• The sit anchor's acquisition signal format is HD1920x1080. In order to ensure the clarity of the anchor signal during Medium shot or Close-up, we adopted the vertical shooting method. Of course, you also need to do this when collecting the announcer signal.

•  Attention: That before this you need to turn off the "Auto orientation" of the camera, the final video should be horizontal composition.
• In the virtual system (vMix; Tricaster), the anchor signal will automatically adjust the orientation by UV Map.

Template:
• Virtual studio scenes is generated by 3D animation software. It may be multi-layered, including pre-set virtual cameras and motion parameters, independent and replaceable screen, real floor reflections, light box colors which can be changed, and props which can be hidden.
